One meter collimator for ISRO
rnAMOS has designed, manufactured, assembled, and aligned an integratedrncollimator to be provided to ISRO/SAC in India. The collimator is arnF/15 folded Cassegrain combination with a 1m diameter fast parabolicrnprimary mirror and a fast hyperbolic secondary mirror. Each mirror isrnspecified to present lambda/60 rms surface accuracy and the MTFrnspecification for the integrated collimator is highly demanding inrnterms of alignment as well. Moreover, the mechanical structure andrnmirror cells are designed to withstand gravity effects and a thermalrnvariation of 10°C, without loss of optical performance.
