Slate is a very hard rock, whose main feature is the fact that its structure is composed of very fine sheets. Traditionally, it has been widely used for roofs, due to its insulating and waterproofing qualities. It is also a very attractive material for interior decoration, due to its versatility and rich range of tones. Part of Porcelanosa's collection of stone-effect tiles, Tibet faithfully reproduces the dense surfaces and stratified surface of this type of stone in a ceramic material of great strength and extraordinary resistance, with incredibly realistic contrasting tones that vary between bluish-black and earthy colours with reddish highlights. Available in five colours (Blue, Stone, Black, Caliza and Arena), Tibet is available as wall and floor tiles, as well as in brick and mosaic versions.
