Environmental solvents

Acros Organics offers a specialized range of solvents, which are tested for trace analysis of polyaromatic hydrocarbons. PAH are condensed ring aromatic compounds that are formed (pyrosynthesized) during incomplete combustion. PAHs are analysed by HPLC with UV and fluorescence detection. Acros Organics PAH solvents are therefore tested for use with analytical methods based on HPLC with UV and fluorescence detection and a clean and noise-free baseline for excitation at lambda 280-305 nm and emission at lambda 340-500 nm.
